The Importance of Staying on Schedule
Vaccinations protect your pet from serious and potentially fatal diseases like rabies, parvovirus, and distemper. But vaccines require regular boosters to remain effective.
Missing a vaccination window can leave your pet vulnerable — and may also affect their ability to travel, board at kennels, or visit certain dog parks.
Common Vaccination Schedules
**Dogs:**
- Rabies: Every 1–3 years (varies by province)
- DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus): Annual or every 3 years
- Bordetella: Annually (especially for dogs in daycare or boarding)
**Cats:**
- Rabies: Every 1–3 years
- FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia): Every 1–3 years
- FeLV (Feline Leukemia): As recommended by your vet
How Idenpet Helps
Idenpet's reminder system lets you set vaccination dates and get notified before they expire. You can also store proof of vaccination in your pet's document locker — ready to share with vets, boarders, or border agents.
No more sticky notes on the fridge or forgotten calendar events. Your pet's health schedule lives in one place.
